NUWAY-K&H ENERGY ACCOUNT MANAGERS JESSE COLLINS, HALEY AMMANN-EKSTROM, AND BRADY KOPPEN
As we move out of winter and into the early stages of spring, now is the perfect time to make sure your energy needs are covered and your equipment is ready to go.
TANK CHECKS AND SPRING PREP
Before the busy season ramps up, we encourage you to check that your fuel and DEF tanks are full and not on hold. This is also a great time to inspect your tanks, hoses, and equipment. Transitioning from winter fuel blends to spring/summer products means you’ll want to:
- Inspect fuel quality
- Drain any water or contaminants by opening the bottom plug
- Check for cracked hoses or visible wear
- Schedule any maintenance needs (painting, leveling, etc.)
If you notice anything that needs attention, don’t wait to reach out to your Energy Account Manager so we can help get it taken care of before the season picks up.
DIESEL CONTRACTING AND DEF PLANNING
Spring is also a good time to talk about diesel contracting. Locking in pricing now can offer cost savings and budgeting peace of mind. Additionally, we recommend getting your DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) tanks filled ahead of spring. This not only helps with cost savings but also ensures your equipment stays compliant with maintenance and warranty programs.
EXPLORE AFD AND MONITORING OPTIONS
If you’re not already using Automated Fuel Delivery (AFD), now is a great time to learn more. AFD helps keep your operation running smoothly by ensuring timely deliveries through monitored tank systems. It’s one less thing to worry about during your busiest times.
FLEXIBLE BILLING OPTIONS THAT WORK FOR YOU
NuWay-K&H offers a range of billing solutions to match your preferences and operation needs:
Deferred Billing: Pay only for the fuel you use each month based on tank monitoring with no upfront expense.
Average Monthly Pricing: Smooth out market fluctuations with a consistent, averaged monthly rate
Bill on Delivery: Pay at delivery, with pricing set when the order is placed or upon delivery.
Contracted Fixed Price: Lock in your fuel price for a set term, a great tool for budgeting and risk management.
If you’re preparing for spring, need to schedule service, or want to talk through delivery and contracting options, now’s the time. Reach out to your NuWay-K&H energy account manager, we’re here to help make your season start off strong.
