At NuWay-K&H Cooperative, our people are our greatest asset. It is with great pleasure that I introduce you to a new and talented employee, Felicia Ferrari. This past July, Felicia became the assistant manager of our Thompson retail store.

Born In Rockford, IL, Felica lived in four different states before graduating from high school in Denison, IA.

Moving to Des Moines, she worked at a variety of customer service jobs, including Wells Fargo where, among other things, she processed mortgage loans and managed customer communications.

She moved to Thompson, IA in June of this year with two of her children. Her daughter, Madalynn, 14, is in 8th grade at Thompson. (Felicia appreciates the smaller class size and lower student-to-teacher ratio of rural schools.) Her son Michael, 16, is a high school junior living with his dad in Des Moines. Her son Mylo, 18, graduated from high school and now works part-time at the Thompson retail store.

Felicia brings to her new position as assistant manager the organizational skills she’s learned over the years and the ability to talk with customers.

“I like serving customers, and I like the people I work with,” says Felicia, who adds that her new position has provided her the opportunity to develop new skills. “It’s teaching me I’m capable of doing more than I thought I could,” she states.
