Over the years we have been utilizing variable rate EDDHA-Chelate in-furrow based off of standard 2.5 acre grids to combat IDC.
While that method is beneficial, the way technology is advancing we now have options through SoilOptix® that allows us to map whole fields in 50 foot swaths and 20 different soil properties. With those we create an IDC risk assessment base off of multiple soil properties mapped with the SoilOptix® soil scanner.
This then gives us a high density map to build a variable rate Iron product to help with those IDC areas.
Contact your NuWay-K&H Agronomy Account Manager to learn more on what SoilOptix® can do for you.
